John Kahukiwa – Managing Partner

Led by managing partner John Kahukiwa Corban Revell provides the highest level of commercial legal acumen to local businesses and specialist legal advice to Māori businesses, organisations, iwi, hapū and whānau. This includes advice and representation in the Waitangi Tribunal, Māori Land Court, High Court, Māori Appellate Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

His multi-disciplinary team are leaders in their respective fields providing advice across all phases of the Waitangi Tribunal settlement process including tribunal claims, settlement negotiations and post settlement organisational structures.

Delivering a service that recognises and advances the value of te reo me tikanga Māori in the law and business is a foundation underpinning all of John’s mahi. From conveyancing and banking to family law and Māori land court matters the Corban Revell team are strengthened by leadership with a strong the Te Ao Māori lens.

Lisa Roberts, Senior Partner

Lisa leads the firms busy property and commercial practice with a team of experienced and highly talented lawyers and legal executives.  Senior associate Frank Chan is a banking and finance specialist who works across a broad range of commercial law areas. Frank works closely with O’neal Mendoza who also specialises in immigration matters and performs a key role as Honorary Vice-Consul for the Philippine Consulate of New Zealand. Steph Donnell provides support and legal administrative services to this broad based commercial and property practice.

Mark Tolich, Senior Consultant

Mark leads the firm’s family law practice. He offers a depth of knowledge and expertise that only comes with operating at the highest level in his field for over thirty years. Mark also holds the role Honorary Consul for the Philippine Consulate General.

Frank Chan, Senior Associate

Frank Chan is an experienced commercial lawyer specialising in banking and finance law.  He has a strong background in property law (both residential and commercial), as well as trusts, wills, estates. Frank oversees the highly effective wills and estate practice.
