John leads the firms Māori, commercial and litigation law practices. He works closely and collaboratively with senior litigators Peri Hoskins and Craig Orton. Julia Harper-Hinton and John with the support of Maureen Malcolm and Hine-Joy Weiland, form an effective and successful team on issues of public law and Māori legal matters. They provide a wide range of commercial law services for Māori organisations, businesses and individuals.
Lisa leads the firms busy property and commercial practice with a team of experienced and highly talented lawyers and legal executives. Senior associate Frank Chan is a banking and finance specialist who works across a broad range of commercial law areas. Frank works closely with O’neal Mendoza who also specialises in immigration matters and performs a key role as Honorary Vice-Consul for the Philippine Consulate of New Zealand. Senior Legal executive Barbara McDonald is a well respected and highly experienced in all property matters with a strong and loyal client base in the West Auckland business community. Rachel Tuhura provides support and legal administrative services to this broad based commercial and property practice.
Mark leads the firm’s family law practice. He offers a depth of knowledge and expertise that only comes with operating at the highest level in his field for over thirty years. Mark also holds the role Honorary Consul for the Philippine Consulate General. His team includes associate Tania Smitton who has experience across all areas of family law and Jennifer Freeman whose focus is parenting and protection matters.
Frank oversees the highly effective wills and estate practice, working with senior legal executive Tom Allen. Tom’s years of experience in this area of law are impressive and legal executive Sandra Tipene works closely with him on a range of key client files.
